A 25-year-old Telugu student lost her life in a tragic road accident in the United States, leaving the Indian community in shock and grief.
The victim has been identified as Navya Gadusu. According to reports, the accident occurred on Interstate 65 near Chicago when the minivan carrying several passengers reportedly lost control and plunged off the highway.
Navya was pronounced dead at the scene by local authorities. Six other passengers sustained injuries in the accident and were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The incident has deeply saddened the Telugu community in the US as well as her family members back in India. Friends and well-wishers have been expressing condolences on social media, remembering her as a bright and promising student with a successful future ahead.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
