Amid the continuing row over Tirumala Laddu, Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan has issued clarification on his stance by claiming that he is not trying to target former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is at a time when the issue had gained dangerous proportions with certain parties trying to politicize it.
In response to the situation, Pawan Kalyan clarified that this was not one kind of situation in which the honourable Prime Minister needed to be brought into it. He further added that as an ex-Chief Minister, YS Jagan would have seen to it that the authorities took the necessary steps against the wrongdoers involved in the Tirumala Laddu scam. “There is no need for him to defend. We are not blaming him; the board constituted by you handled this. The simple thing is that he should let the new government proceed with its actions,” Pawan Kalyan said, urging a straightforward approach to the situation.
Discussions have ensued through the statement of Pawan Kalyan, especially as he drove home the point of the need for accountability with justice but not through political motives. He stressed that the main concern must focus on holding the guilty accountable and maintaining the sanctity of the Tirumala Laddu.
