The Hindi remake of Khaithi, starring Karthi, is a box office failure

Everyone is well aware that Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Khaithi, the blockbuster film starring Tamil actor Karthi and directed by Kanagaraj, was a huge success in both Tamil and Telugu. Because of the movie’s popularity and audience, Lokesh Kanagaraj was able to advance as a director.

Ajay Devgn’s translation of Khaithi as Bholaa was transformed into a Hindi film, which was released last Friday, March 30. In addition to playing the lead, Ajay Devgn also served as the movie’s director. The movie has failed to draw the crowd to the theatres despite receiving favourable reviews. Ajay made the film by making a number of alterations to suit the Hindi audience’s tastes.

Regarding box office performance, Bholaa has only made a meagre 43 Crores net in India for 5 days and is on its way to becoming a catastrophic failure. Bollywood Trade Circles had high expectations for the movie because Ajay Devgn’s previous movie, Drishyam 2, was a huge hit, however their expectations were not realised.

Bholaa is Ajay Devgn’s fourth film under his own direction, following You, Me Aur Hum, Shivay, and Runway34. Along with Ajay and Tabu reuniting after Drishyam 2, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Amala Paul, and Vineet Kumar also appear in the movie.
