Lal Salaam will shortly launch on OTT. Finally, the film’s director and Aishwarya, Rajinikanth’s daughter, discussed how the OTT version of Lal Salaam will differ from the theatrical version.
According to Aishwarya, the OTT version of the movie will include an extended director’s cut. She claims that this will be entirely different from the screen performance. She said that some lost video had been found and included to the OTT cut. According to her opinion, she had extremely specific requirements for the longer cut, saying it had to follow the script exactly. The filmmaker added that A.R. Rahman, the film’s music director, requested to rewrite the soundtrack for the expanded version and didn’t want payment in addition.
