When superstar Rajinikanth unexpectedly teamed up with Nelson Dilip Kumar, the movie’s working title, “Thalaivar 169,” was used. Subsequently, the movie’s title was changed to “Jailer,” and the directors unveiled Rajinikanth’s first image.
The long-awaited movie recently wrapped up 100 days of filming, and “Jailer” is in the final stages of production. According to reports, scenes starring Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff were being shot, and the present production is also supposed to include some other top actors.
By the second week of April, all of the film’s shooting is anticipated to be finished. The team will next proceed to the publicity and post-production tasks. Both Rajinikanth and Nelson need to succeed with this movie because their last two movies were critical and commercial flops.
The movie had a high budget and a huge star cast, including Rajinikanth in the lead role and Mohanlal, Shivaraj Kumar, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, and Tamanna in supporting roles.
In the movie “Jailer,” starring Rajinikanth as the retired jail warden Muthuvel Pandian, Nelson Dilip Kumar is said to have packed a suspenseful thriller with dark humour. With this, his third collaboration with Rajinikanth, Anirudh Ravichander is expected to provide a strong musical performance.
