Gopichand Expresses Interest in Playing Villain in Prabhas Film

Telugu cinema’s action hero, Gopichand, will make a statement that not only thrills the fans but also excites Prabhas’s fans. Gopichand who is mostly known for powerful roles in action movies recently spoke to a magazine with words that deeply thrilled every movie fan. He said he would love to play a villain in one of Prabhas’s upcoming movies if offered. And this statement has sparked people’s imagination to see this dynamic combination on the big screen.

Hero to Villain for Gopichand

Gopichand is considered one of the most successful action heroes of Telugu cinema, although many movies featured him as a villain at the beginning of his career, and people generally appreciated his performances. Gopichand’s character of a villain in Varsham and Jayam made him almost unforgettable and formidable, and contrastingly, he established himself as an actor who can play both hero and villain with some ease. However, as his career went well, he became famous for more heroic characters and a hero in the industry.

Idea of Gopichand and Prabhas Teaming Up

They are both bankable stars in Telugu Cinema. While Prabhas has become the product of Pan-India after the unparalleled success of the franchise Baahubali, Gopichand is still carrying a huge fan following in his action heroes. If they plan to cast Gopichand as a negative character opposite Prabhas, it would be a very interesting project because they have already given Varsham, in 2004, in which Gopichand was the antagonist whereas Prabhas was hero.

The fans are eager to see this possible combination between the actors and look forward to what magic this duology could work out on the screen. With Prabhas’s larger than life personality and Gopichand’s intensity, a face-off between the two would certainly form an epic cinematic moment.

The Gopichand wanted to test his villain character again as well.

The willingness of Gopichand to go back to villainous roles indicated his interest in exploring various facets of his acting. He had earlier mentioned that acting in negative roles provided him with more creative liberty and scope to stretch himself further. This means that fans highly anticipate seeing him clash with Prabhas, as both stars possess unique acting styles.

All’s buzz is around Gopichand’s statement that he wishes to play the role of a villain in Prabhas’s next outing. And an area of huge excitement comes from the fact that they have given one of the biggest hits in Varsham. If the opportunity comes, this combination surely will be treat for the lovers of Telugu cinema.
