Praised for his boy-next-door image and down-to-earth performances, Pradeep plays the lead in this teen love story directed by debutant Keerthiswaran. Made by Mythri Movie Makers, the film navigates relationships, identity, and millennial struggles through the lens of a modern world.
The very name Dude suggests a carefree, coming-of-age tone. With Mamitha Baiju as the female protagonist, and a good supporting cast in the form of R. Sarathkumar and Rohini, the film seeks to mix emotion with comedy in a new manner. Netflix being the digital partner comes in as another fillip of excitement, hinting at the film having a large international following soon after its theatrical debut.
