Now, it has been officially announced that Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming movie would release on January 13th 2023 rather than the previously announced date of August 11th and Sankranthi 2024. While this is wonderful news, the real story is that a triangular clash will occur at the box office that will completely surprise the Telugu audience.
Many in the industry mourned and expressed their sadness when movies like Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya, Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy, and Vijay’s Varasudu released around the same time in 2023. And this Sankranthi in 2024 is going to be a battle of the titans because Prabhas, Mahesh, and Ram Charan, three of the biggest celebrities, are squaring off at the box office.

Project-producers K’s have previously stated that the movie will be released in theatres on January 12th, while Ram Charan’s #RC15 has been steadily moved to the same date by Dil Raju. As if this conflict wasn’t stressful enough, #SSMB28 is now scheduled for release on January 13th, causing friction among distributors and others.
Without a doubt, if all the movies have superior substance, then all the movies are likely to benefit, just like how Chiru and Balayya made millions of dollars at the box office despite having average material. While the planning for #SSMB28 is still uncertain, Prabhas and Charan are anticipated to have a significant Pan-India release among the 2024 releases.
