Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Akhanda,” which was created and conceived by Boyapati Sreenu, is one of the latest smash smashes that has caused immense hysteria in Telugu theatres. The possibility of a movie sequel has been brought up often, but the director has remained silent. Yet, it appears that a sequel will be released.
Evidently, Balayya is preoccupied with #NBK108, and many other young filmmakers are anxiously awaiting his approval of the tales they have told him. He might be through filming this Anil Ravipudi production by the end of May. Boyapati will also be finishing off his work on RaPo’s upcoming film, which has been in production for a while. And the most recent rumour is that Boaypati told Balayya about the idea for Akhanda 2 and the actor nodded in agreement.

If everything goes according to plan, the movie might be released on June 10th, the night before Balayya’s birthday, and it would begin production in a matter of weeks. All of Boyapati’s and Balayya’s closest units are currently keeping quiet about the situation. If the rumours about Akhanda 2 are accurate, it will undoubtedly be a blast.
