“Manasilaayo,” the first song from Superstar Rajinikanth’s eagerly awaited film Vettaiyan, has lively folk music created by Anirudh Ravichander.
On Monday, the first song from Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming Vettaiyan film, “Manasilaayo,” was released. The dance routine, which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is in keeping with the joyful songs that are usually featured in Rajinikanth films.
The song is a cheerful, folk-inspired tribute to the cherished actor-playback singer combination. Set against the backdrop of a Keralan celebration, “Manasilaayo” pays homage to Rajinikanth’s larger-than-life persona, speaks about communal unity, and liberally sprinkles in Malayalam terms.
Manju Warrier, who plays Rajinikanth’s wife in the movie, dances along to the upbeat music as she takes part in the festivities as well.
Prominently, Anirudh used artificial intelligence (AI) to replicate the voice of the late playback singer Malaysia Vasudevan, who sadly died in 2011. Rajinikanth fans were thrilled to hear the composer revive Vasudevan’s voice thanks to this technological advancement. Vettaiyan marks Anirudh’s fourth collaboration with Rajinikanth. His music and background scores have often been credited for elevating even the simplest scenes in recent Tamil films.
Lyca Productions produces the movie, which TJ Gnanavel wrote, directed, and stars in. Rajinikanth plays an encounter-focused police officer in the movie Vettaiyan. In this film, Gnanavel promises to present “a fresh dimension of Rajinikanth” to the audiences. The release date of Vettaiyan is set for October 10.
