Plot Summary
In Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Nani plays Surya, an LIC agent who lives a seemingly ordinary life but reserves his anger and vigilante instincts for Saturdays. He stands up for the weak and fights against injustice. Charulatha (Priyanka Arul Mohan), a new recruit at the local police station, comes into contact with the ruthless CI Dayanand (S. J. Suryah). The film explores the clash between Surya and Dayanand and the consequences of their confrontation.
Performances
Nani delivers a standout performance as Surya, excelling in emotional scenes with his family, action sequences, and confrontations with S. J. Suryah. His ability to balance drama with action, particularly in his interactions with Priyanka Arul Mohan, is impressive. S. J. Suryah, in a well-crafted antagonist role, provides a powerful performance that often overshadows Nani. His comedic timing, even in a serious role, adds depth to his character.
Priyanka Arul Mohan’s role is less impactful, lacking depth and emotional engagement. Supporting actors Sai Kumar, Murali Sharma, and Ajay Ghosh contribute meaningfully, while Abhirami and Aditi Balan provide emotional weight in their roles as Surya’s mother and sister, respectively.

Technical Aspects
Jakes Bejoy’s music is a mixed bag. The background score is effective in the second half but feels overly loud in the first. The film’s soundtrack does not significantly enhance the viewing experience. Karthika Srinivas’ editing could have been tighter; a fifteen-minute trim would have improved the film’s pacing and overall entertainment value. G Murali’s cinematography and DVV Entertainment’s production values are commendable, adding quality to the film’s visuals.
