Dil Raju says Pawan Kalyan was the initial preference for Ram Charan’s Game Changer

Everyone is well aware that Ram Charan, a megastar in South Indian cinema, is now collaborating with Shankar, one of the best directors in the genre, on the film RC 15. The movie is currently in production, but a release date has not yet been made public. Producer Dil Raju revealed some intriguing information that few people had previously heard.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan was in fact the first choice for Shankar’s film, according to interviews star producer Dil Raju gave to the media on the occasion of the Telugu film industry’s 20th anniversary.

I asked Shankar who he had in mind when I first heard the Game Changer script, and he suggested someone like Pawan Kalyan. I then recommended Ram Charan, and that is how it came about. This will be a classic Shankar film from the 1990s, said Dil Raju. He added that Ram Charan was filming for RRR at the time he was listening to the script, and he requested that Charan hear the narrative of Shankar.

The news that Shankar, a director, had considered collaborating with Pawan Kalyan has thrilled fans of both actors, who are also disappointed that their planned movie never came to fruition.

When questioned if the concept of this movie will be similar to the one-day CM in Shankar’s Oke Okkadu, Dil Rau said he couldn’t share more information at this time but promised a vintage Shankar movie with the Ram Charan starring. The management of Dil Raju Productions will be handled by Hansitha Reddy, Dil Raju’s daughter, and Harishth Reddy, his nephew. They will now produce movies under two different labels.
