In April, the Telugu remake of the Tamil film Viduthalai Part 1 will be released by Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts. This information was corroborated by the film’s creators, who provided a picture of the seasoned producer alongside Vetrimaaran, Elred Kumar, and the director.
Viduthalai’s dubbed version was initially scheduled to be released on this month’s seventh. However, it is being said that the movie has been delayed because this week already sees the release of two separate Telugu films. Now that a major studio like Geetha Arts is collaborating on this movie, there shouldn’t be any issues with its release. According to reports, the Geetha Arts team intends to screen Viduthalai in a significant number of Telugu States cinemas.
An dramatic crime procedural thriller called Viduthalai, written and directed by Vetrimaaran, centres on rebel leader Perumal (Vijay Sethupathi) and the efforts of police to apprehend him as part of “operation ghost hunt.” Although Gautham Menon and Rajiv Menon portrayed his senior officers, Soori plays the character of idealistic police officer Kumaresan.
The short story “Thunaivan” by author Jeyamohan, who also co-wrote the movie’s screenplay with Vetrimaaran, served as the inspiration for Viduthalai Part 1. On March 31, the movie received excellent reviews and audience acclaim upon its global premiere. The movie’s soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, and R Velraj handled the film’s cinematography.
