The fantasy action film Kanguva, featuring Suriya, is the much-awaited news, and now comes another big news: Prabhas will attend the pre-release event. It began in 2019, but was put off as lead actors and the director had commitments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Launched in August 2022 with working title Suriya 42, after a shooting spree of 17 months of location work including Chennai, Goa, Kerala, Kodaikanal, and Rajahmundry, the shoot was over in January 2024.
