As Devara approaches its date of release, so far, advance bookings in Hindi have been disappointing. The Hindi version of the film is not even able to breach the ₹ 1 crore gross advance sales mark, causing concerns ahead of its day-one show in the Hindi belt.
Experts keep a close eye on the numbers, and market trends suggest Devara, though in Hindi, will also be behind some of the recent South Indian films, including #RamCharan’s #Zanjeer and #AlluArjun’s #Pushpa. Such minuscule pre-release hype in the Hindi market has one raise their eyebrows on NTR mass appeal being huge enough for the opening day.

And if Devara does pull off a decent one on day one, that could still be considered a fair success on the lines of one-day earnings of #RadheShyam and #Liger.
