It was previously rumored that Nithya Menen might feature in Dhanush’s upcoming film, DD 4 (tentative title). Nithya has now disclosed that she is collaborating with Arun Vijay and Ashok Selvan on Dhanush’s upcoming film. The actress revealed some information regarding the Tamil star’s upcoming film project following Raayan in a recent conversation.

The actress revealed that she finds it interesting that the background of her character is a village. She acknowledged her excitement to be working on the project and said she was excited to take on a challenging role, but she refrained from giving away any more information about the movie. Similar to Shobana’s character in Thiruchitrambalam, this character is difficult for me to play and is also quite fresh to me. However, I’m thrilled to be involved,” she remarked.
According to rumors, Dhanush will play the lead role in this movie, as he did in Raayan. This marks his fourth attempt at directing. An important role has also been assigned to Ashok Selvan, while Arun Vijay will play the antagonist. Fans are overjoyed to see Dhanush and Nithya Menen together again, especially since Nithya Menen has already confirmed her involvement.
For those who are unaware, Nithya and Dhanush last collaborated on the movie Thiruchitrambalam (2022), for which Nithya received the National Film Award for Best Actress this year.
